Every Wednesday in July from 6-8pm on the Dares Beach side of Calvert Middle School. It is open to all players ages 7-16. As you arrive please check in so that children can be organized in age appropriate groups. Come out and have fun ! For information contact

Scholarship Award Ceremony
CSA hosted the first annual Scholarship Award Ceremony on June 15 at HHP. The CSA scholarships were presented in $1,000 and $500 amounts to graduates of Calvert County High Schools entering college this fall. Present at the ceremony were Senator Mike Miller and Calvert County Commissioner Linda Kelley. All recipients received a medal, ball and scholarship check from CSA. In addition, Senator Mike Miller presented each student with a special certificate of recognition from the State of Maryland for their accomplishments.
CSA is proud to be able to say that these young people played soccer, coached and reffed for us and wish them much success in the future. We also hope that will continue to be involved with soccer and possibly return to us and coach soccer for CSA.

CSA Soccer Camp
Tryout registration is now open. Please go to the following link to register:
RecPlus will offer girls soccer for the U7-U8 and the U9-U10 age groups.
Fall 2009 tryouts will begin on July 6th and last for three weeks. The tryouts will be at Calvert Middle School at 6:30 pm on the dates listed below:
U7-U8 (born August 1, 2001 to July 31, 2003) July 6th, 13th, 20th.
U9-U10 (born August 1, 1999 to July 31, 2001) July 7th, 14th, 21st.
U11-U12 (born August 1, 1997 to July 31, 1999) July 8th, 15th, 22nd.
U13-U14 (born August 1, 1995 to July 31, 1997) July 9th, 16th, 23rd

To register for the CCP&R Fall Season, complete the Sesonal Registration Form under the Referee tab.
- Initial Referee class will be held at Mt. Hope Community Center on August 1 between 8:30 AM to 2:30 PM and August 3, 5, and 7 between 6 PM and 9 PM.
- 2010 Recertification will be held on August 15 at St Mary's Chancellers Run Park. Time to be posted soon.
Gretton Goalkeeping Announces Summer Camps
Gretton Goalkeeping will offer
its 7th Annual Summer Goalkeeper Soccer Camp Series this year at Hallowing
Point Park a various times during the summer.. (See schedule below). Camps run
Monday's through Thursday's each week at various hours of the day. All ages and
skill levels welcome! Field player training offered as well by separate field
